In the heart of Escaparium Laval's massive complex nestles a mysterious monument classified as a World Heritage Site, forgotten for several centuries: an ancient cathedral. Escaparium was built around this characterful building that once served as a sanctuary for a now extinct cult.

Archaeological excavations and restoration of the monument have been underway for several years now. This allowed us to make major discoveries on the history of the cathedral and on a certain cult that we name, "The Order". Artifacts of rituals dating back centuries have been found and are currently being investigated.

Come take the guided tour through the myths and legends of a forgotten past. A trip which you will never forget. (this is an escape game)!

5 stars are not enough for this game. From the briefing, to the very last second, you'll be in awe.
Always looking for that thing you'be not seen/experienced before? Well, I lost count.
This game alone is worth the journey to Quebec, it has the handy bonus of having more amazing games under the same roof.

This needs to be on everybody's agenda.

I'm in awe of this adventure. Throughout the journey you are taken from the quiet to intense and then back again.  Even in the introduction you experience a full range of emotions from humour to fear.. and at this point you haven't actually entered the Cathedral!
Speaking of the cathedral, it is jaw-dropping... its to the standard of a movie set or Disney attraction and its easy to forget you're not actually in a place of worship. The narrative is beautifully woven into the puzzles and each solve progresses the story, and they are incorporated into the environment to ensure that all players are in the right place at the right time for the "WOW! moments"... and theres plenty of those.
Its an adventure of epic proportions, with spectacular effects, moments where you can't believe your eyes. Its a must play and well worth the trip to Laval.

One word – a spectacle. This word in escape rooms world is usually associated with horror games and great acting, which are not properties of this game – yet, for me it deserves to be called one like no other game I’ve ever played.

I would categorize this game as a tense adventure game. It is definitely not a game whose main objective is to scare players and it does not contain actors meaning to scare you, which is where many faint-hearted players draw a line. Though it contains elements that could startle players, so personal discretion is advisable, but missing out on this unforgettable experience would be a huge mistake! What is more – the low scarefactor allows this game to not give up on gameplay and still feature high quality and engaging puzzles, which is where many similarly themed games are not shining at.

It’s hard to pinpoint a single particular strong point of the game as it is just filled with so many of them. Everything from the intro scene and the beginning part, throughout the main part and up to the ending part, is spectacular and polished. It starts off high and does not slow down. But if I had to pick a favorite part, it would probably be the ending!
