You open the unlocked door to the back of the dirty dark house, you all creep inside very slowly……
The door quickly slams and locks behind you and one of your friends gets taken…… you are now captured……
A siren sounds, the lights go out…… you all scatter into the nearest hiding places you can find…… you hear his footsteps…… he’s coming…… you now have one hour to escape Leonard's evil torture house…… you must collect the four vital pieces of evidence along to way to give to the police and put Leonard away for good!!!

The GM was absolutely fantastic and so so friendly. This was hands down THE scariest room I’ve ever done. Super immersive. Would recommend if you enjoy a scary room but it’s NOT for the faint hearted.
It’s refreshing to see a game with plenty of space. You can literally run around in this room if you want to. The venue also had plenty of free parking. Personally we thought there was a little too much figurative hand-holding but that’s just us. The staff were very charismatic and went out their way to accommodate us. Will be back.

Honestly, never played an escape room like it. The puzzles are simple but it’s for a really good reason! I challenge anyone to go do this without being scared. The set up is brilliant, the ambiance - phenomenal and the scare factor truly lives up to its name/reputation. If I could do it again, I would!!
THE BEST ESCAPE ROOM IVE DONE!!!! Absolutely terrifying…so much so I couldn’t help my team mates with any clues as I was far too scared and spent the whole time looking for hiding places. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants the absolute terrifying scare factor in an escape room! Would do this again…you may need extra knickers!!!
With a last minute visit to Lincoln on the cards it was a quick browse of Escape the Review to find a room and we immediately found Project Mayhem. We love a good scare and we love a good escape room and this was ticking all the boxes from us. We arrived and were greeted by our awesome host Dean. He explained the story of the room we were about to play, the usual health and safety and explained that there would also be a live actor. If we heard an alarm we had to hide. I've played a couple of rooms with a live actor in so I thought I knew what we were in for. I was wrong. He asked us to pick one person from our group to be taken. I nominated myself and I was taken away.
