Beverley Breakout: Santa Paws and the Christmas Chaos

No better way to spend a Christmas Eve

Beautifully flowing room, great variety of puzzles throughout and absolutely no logic leaps. 

As always wonderfully hosted and a pleasure to play. Would highly recommend.

Played with 2 adults, a 3 year old and a 5 year old

I love a Christmas room...  they're a big bundle of lovely puzzles which gives you a festive puzzling hug, and this game has a pup that you're going to want to take home. Wonderfully themed with clever puzzles, which made us smile and also curse a little (sorry Santa!) when we couldn't see the blooming obvious right in front of us.  LOVED IT!

As my Co-Escaper as a huge fan of Christmas rooms (and frankly who isn't?) this was always on the list to play.  A lot of familiar tropes are in play but done in such a wonderfully whimsical way you can't help but have a huge smile on your face as you (once again) save Christmas.  There are some clever observational puzzles that we just couldn't see until the slightest of hints put us right, our GM was Fran (the owner) and she hinted us exactly at the right time.  There may be something strange playing a Christmas game in the middle of summer but the power of Christmas conquers all...

Was a fun room. Set dressing was in line with the theme. It’s not quite as detailed as others perhaps but it’s understandable as a seasonal room - although that being said it’s still a lot better than most standard rooms. Good use of different visual puzzles.

Can't fault hosting at all - Fran and her family are great at what they do!

Well, well, well....Beverley Breakout have done it again.
Absolutely smashed it out the bark* with this one.  (dog pun)

This was my 6 year olds first escape room, and he LOVED it, as did we, (but we always do when we go here). It's a shame that Escape the Review only allows three tags, because Beautiful, original, funny, clever, immersive, story-driven, magical would all be ticked as well. 

I cant believe this is a temporary room. This is built up like its there permanently, and despite it being a Christmas themed room, the magic was not lost when we played it in February. The puzzles made sense, the flow was perfect, there were challenges, there were easy wins, there was some comedy, it was just perfect. 

Honestly, if you get chance to play this room before it disappears, I PROMISE you, you will NOT be disappointed.

As always our hosts, Fran and Meyah, made us very welcome, and is always really great to chat to them afterwards. It's clear they have a great passion for the games.

This is easily my most favourite Christmas room ever. The story, the puzzles the flow just all worked. There were wow moments and for my son, who's 8, it was genuinely a teleportation to Santa's workshop

This christmas room was fantastic and full of amazing puzzles that were perfect for the theme. Considering it has been put together for just the christmas period, the set design is beautiful.

Fran was a lovely host as always.

I normally have blinkered judgement when it comes to playing Xmas rooms as I find that MOST that I have played are thrown together quickly with not much thought behind them in a bid to increase traffic through the doors over the Christmas months. 

But as per all other room within Beverley, so much thought has been put into the puzzles, most of which I had not seen before and are very clever. As a 35 year old, I don’t normally feel the “magic” of a Christmas room but I actually felt it in this room. Some great magical touches that as child to experience would be wonderful, smiles all round! 

My only regret is that my own child isn’t quite old enough to understand an escape room so I missed out, but rest assured when she’s old enough and if they have one, I’ll be returning to Beverley as soon as I can. 

Hosting as per is top notch. The owner of very knowledgable and creates such a friendly game experience 

Really fun Christmas room! We had a great time and really enjoyed all the different puzzles in this room. Another great room at Beverley Breakout. 

Those who have been to Beverley Breakout before will be familiar with the high quality of puzzles on offer and Santa Paws is more of the same; plenty to do but some puzzles you need to work hard for make this room an absolute Christmas joy.

We just had a great time in here, as we always do: Fran is such a delightful host and coming here is always a treat. This is such a cute Christmas room that is craftily put together and we didn't want it to end!
