This room was immersive beyond anything I had seen before this trip. The set was stunning and we collectively gasped upon seeing it. The theme itself was really unique in lots of ways and it led to some fantastic puzzles. It really was unique puzzle after unique puzzle. As a couple of other reviews have set you end up doing the very things you are told not to do in most escape rooms, we found ourselves checking with eachother if something we were about to do was really allowed and it always was which was exhilarating!
While there was a central area that lots of the game took place in, there were plenty of exciting routes to venture on that revealed themselves. While the room disguised the tech it used cleverly there was certainly a lot of it! Definitely some things you wouldn’t get away with in the UK and that’s the whole point of travelling for these rooms!
The room ended in a really great way, we let our guards down and then very quickly had to get actioning again meaning we left the room with a real rush.
What a room!

It’s hard to find the right words to describe just how good this room was. The location alone blew my mind—do people even realize what’s happening underneath their kitchen? It’s absolutely mental!
The puzzles were incredibly well-synced, and you can expect to climb, crawl, smash, and bash your way through in ways that would probably get you arrested if you tried them in the UK. The effects were top-notch, the room was brilliantly designed, and the hosting was spot-on.

The best escape room I've ever played! A truly mind-blowingly good and immersive from the get go with plenty of surprises. A must play for all escape room fans if you ever visit Barcelona and even more so if you like the Last Of Us

In all honesty, it is difficult to find the superlatives for how immersive and how incredibly clever this game is.
Epic is not a word I would oft use to describe an escape room but this one just... is. The wow moments keep on coming and the puzzles are woven beautifully into the world of the game.
Some advice, however: don't wear nice clothes, bring cash if you're paying off the balance at the room and - to echo the sentiments of another reviewer on here - ensure you go to the toilet before arriving at the game. Other than those sage pieces of advice, it is better that you know as little as possible before going in; it is an absolute must-play. Superb.

Top 3 Rooms of all time!
HUGE set, lots of physical puzzles, running, crawling, smashing. Absolute delight to play, outshone the higher rated Brewery Room in Barcelona IMO.
Such a great immersive game from start to finish

Why do you actually play escape rooms with only two people, when it makes the game much more expensive per person? The answer is clear: The smaller the group, the deeper you dive into the story and get involved in every puzzle. In this sense, the very varied game Distrito 111 grabbed us and from the beginning we were part of the story: Generally the game gets me from the first second, when the streets, the buildings around and also the entry of the room to play look a little lost in place….then the door opens and in that moment the game already starts.
The room was very tough for two and we needed a few times a discreet hint from the gamemaster. Nevertheless, the hints fit well into our flow – the timing from the gamemaster in that way was perfect.
