You need to identify all members of the gang and see if your team’s suspicions are correct. But it’s not so simple, as the members of the gang seem to be board games enthusiasts and to love hi-tech inventions, which can be challenging obstacles in your research. Given the large number of escape games I play each year, I usually only write reviews of the rooms that I have particularly positive memories of. But I have to make an exception for this experience.

After we had previously played “White Cell” (which was OK) with this provider, our game master, who noticed that we were frequent gamers, became visibly uncomfortable because we had booked “Roll the Dice” as our second room. After the game, we knew why.

No blame to our GM, who even tried to rebook us into another, newer room. But unfortunately that didn’t work.

Even in the first room, a puzzle was not possible without guessing because some of the information needed to solve it was no longer available. Someone had ripped off a piece of the wallpaper, and that was obviously not fixed.

In the next room, there were a dozen puzzles to solve. These included simple puzzles, as well as board games like chess, Monopoly, or Scrabble. In theory, in this linear game you solve one puzzle after another together, enter the combination you find into a keypad or lock, and then you can open a drawer or compartment that contains instructions or game material for the next task. However, three or four of the drawers could already be opened before you had entered the code into the corresponding keypad. We were then asked by the GM to close them again because that would only come later.

All of the furniture looked cheap and was in very poor condition.
