Wonderful little room and our first time with Lockdown Escapes. Very well themed room despite the puzzles being a little on the easier side. Would work very well with youngsters playing the room and a nice introductory room for them. Host was great and nice to talk with people that genuinely enjoy the industry and are happy to recommend other companies games to play.
OK I’m reviewing this room also based on value. So we did one of their other rooms and they sent us a 15% off voucher. Meaning that this room for one adult and one child cost us just £35. It’s a fairly small room, but it’s well dressed, atmospheric, and great fun. Of the two rooms, this was our favourite one.
Great room for families. The room itself is beautiful and feels like a real hogwarts room. The downsides are that the puzzles were on the whole quite straight forward. Recommend for younger players or if you’re new to escape rooms.
Although Lockdown are new to the escape room scene, they have brought three strong games to the table, with (minor hiccups aside) The Ministry being a highlight of the venue. If their first games are any indication of their skills, I look forward to seeing what comes next!
