Fun game for newbies.  Very easy.  Tried for the most part for puzzles to have credible in-game reasons for existing, with some noticeable lapses.

Played the first episode of Enigma Fellowship. Quite impressed by the wealth of physical and informative content, less by the puzzles, but still enjoyable. I am not entirely sure why I was not impressed by most of the puzzles, maybe some were too easy, others seemed like announcing some big puzzling arc, but they quickly resolved into simple search and find exercises. Don’t get me wrong, it is a fun experience sifting through the different envelopes, the audio recordings and wealth of information, but my puzzling thirst was not really being quenched. I will keep the subscription though, knowing what is the important aspect of this game and how the designers think them, might help appreciate the next offerings more.

I had a wonderful time playing through The Lost Knowledge. The difficulty meter of 65% felt about right. It was a nice intermediate level game, with some easier puzzles at the beginning and end, and some more challenging puzzles in the middle. The game had an engaging story and some cool puzzles that were really clever and perfectly on theme. I liked the option to listen to the story online. I also loved the hint system. It slowly teases out information and never gave me more information than I was hoping for. There is also one specific puzzle where you have the option to select more information as a pre-hint, and this really helps make sure all players will have a great experience, no matter the puzzle type. I’m looking forward to continuing to play through the series!

I just finished a nice little romp through history, playing The Lost Knowledge by Enigma Fellowship. Really enjoyed it. Great narrative and some lovely puzzles.

I chose them because being in Europe I hoped for fast shipping and the cheaper price didn't hurt. The game was super fun too and really well put together. We especially loved the voice acting and music. It added so much to the atmosphere! The puzzles had a good fit to the story, which was really immersive. This is a great option for Europe rather than getting something from the US.

We recently played The Lost Knowledge for game night at home. All I can say is, wow!! What a gripping story. It took us a bit over 3hrs to finish everything because we found the puzzles to be somewhat challenging, but the time flew by since they were fun. The digital and physical item interaction kept us hooked and we were dying to know the professor's fate by the end. At each stages we were excited to discover what lies ahead. It was an engaging experience. The props are well designed and woven around the story. The light weight package also makes it easy to store, unlike other boxes, and pass around to friends. We're already looking forward to getting their next game.

We were introduced to the ‘escape rooms’ by our kids about a year ago and since then we have played three or four of them. In fact, whenever we visit them, we never miss a chance to try our investigative skills.

Now with travel restrictions in place due to  COVID, we were missing the excitement and luckily bumped across Enigma Fellowship. We ordered the first game, The Lost Knowledge. It was delivered quite quickly and we wasted no time to open the nicely packed package envelope and play.

Wow... we are impressed! The creators have put in their heart and soul to prepare the plot and link every stage perfectly. Technically very sound, the props are all well designed and matched with every stage of the story. One can find creativity, excitement and the X factor. Lot of thinking and intellect has gone into preparing the game. The story keeps you engaged and the puzzles are challenging, but fit the story perfectly. It feels almost like Indiana Jones at home.

We were totally involved till the end and there was not a moment when we were not thinking and were not raising eye brows and scratching our brains. The package is well marked and comes with easy instructions to reset the game.

Can’t wait for the next one from Enigma Fellowship.

Having launched in the early days of the pandemic, Enigma Fellowship is now well established with a range of five different box games, so I’m very behind the times reviewing their first one. The Enigma of Lost Knowledge has you commissioned to investigate a missing professor, and provides a fat envelope of papers with which to do so.

I found the style here quite similar to the Escape The Crate games, in that you have various envelopes that mostly represent a lock or other obstacle that you enco...

Overall, really good fun! A great game to play whether or not you’re a newbie to the play at home genre, or a veteran. You’ll find yourself surprised, excited, and feeling accomplished when you finally ‘win’ the game.

I see this being a great game for fellow history geeks like me. While the historical references were lost on my teammate, I revelled in them. I even called dibs on anything Egyptian-related as soon as it came out of the dossier.

There aresome clever puzzles and a nicely-woven story to this game that’ll entertain and educate you a little too. I’d recommend this game for fans of history and ancient cultures, or those who want a refreshing twist on the treasure hunter puzzle adventure.

It’s heartening to see the approach that Enigma Fellowship has taken with the production and shipping of their game … they plant a tree for each copy of the game sold, and every other part of their process is carbon neutral!
