You're a prisoner on a submarine, and the captain has offered you one chance at escape: find the treasure hidden deep at the bottom of the ocean.
The catch? Your air runs out in ONE HOUR.
It's a race against the clock. Do you have what it takes to scour the ocean floor, capture the treasure, and make it back to the surface before you run out of time?

Great looking room, good use of the theme, and some very clever puzzles. We do a lot of rooms and one of the puzzles stumped us for ages ... in a good way 🙂 Love the enthusiasm for books.

Excellent flow and some really charming puzzles which make creative use of a relatively simple set.

One of my favourite online games.  Lively and pleasant host, some very neat puzzles, and excellent integration with the theme.  Fairly low-tech, but cleverly designed.  Bravo!

Not a physically remarkable space, but a fun GM and cute puzzles that flow well.

There's a lot to recommend this room, from the novel way to deliver a briefing, the fantastic GM who constantly played along, the flow of puzzles was very good (along with one of the cleverest visual puzzles I've seen for a while).  The picture quality was good and the inventory was telescape based so items would appear and disappear based on our actions and worked incredibly well.  This was an awful lot of fun and I even though I'm scaling my virtual play (now we can play pysical) I would play more of their offerings.

All remote rooms start with the usual briefing, but here at Novel Escapes you get a very entertaining briefing which will make you smile. Hosted throughout our adventure by Captain Nemo who wants to retrieve the last family picture they have which has been buried with some treasure you enter the Nautilus and embark on the recovery mission.

The decor is excellent for remote viewing (not movie quality but it works well), bright colours and sufficiently large text where its needed, they also use Telescape for the inventory. The avatar was immensley entertaining and played along with the team fabulously. Puzzles and excellently themed and logical and fair, and fit in nicely with the narration. There is also a very nice finale to complete the adventure.

The entire team just grinned throughout the game, and we all look forward to the next remote offering from Novel Escapes.

The build is not amazing (if you look carefully you can still see the rented office space) but the puzzles are solid and flow well, and the avatar player cooperates well with the players.  The room also uses the features of liveescape pretty well and a bit better than other rooms that have used it.

EDIT -- came back to give an extra half-star for the "Wilson the Volleyball" easter egg.

When we got on board the Nautilus, a very smiley captain greeted us, ready to give us some instructions. I am fairly new to Escaping Remote Games but even my well-seasoned team-mates were wooed by the captain’s witty and rhyming briefing that she read to us from a book. Nemo asked our help to find some treasures and personal items at the bottom of the ocean.
