a really cool concept - escape room in the dark, with well suited puzzles and a lovely host!

Bewertungen von Escape Room-Bewertungsseiten

Any review of Access Escape has to start with the most important fact about it: the whole game takes place in complete darkness. Enthusiasts often rail against unnecessary darkness used to make puzzles harder, but this is a completely different beast, where the whole experience is designed from the outset to be played without the benefit of sight. There are a few other such games scattered around, but they're rare enough that I imagine it'll be a novelty for most enthusiasts playing it.

'Dark' ...

The key selling point of this room is the darkness. Take that away and you’ll be disappointed. But as it is, it’s a room that’s worth doing just to really test yourself. Try it, you’ll be surprised.

We enter London’s only pitch black escape room to collect dragon eggs by using just communication, touch and smell.

We were not completely sure what to expect from an escape room in the dark. So many questions, how can we comment on theming when we can’t see anything? How can we solve puzzles without our eyes? Surely we will just be aimlessly walking around bumping into things….. well we really did not need to worry!
How do you feel about spending up to an hour in complete inky darkness? We went hunting for dragon eggs in the UK's first blind and visually impaired accessible escape room. Did we capture those eggs, or fade into obscurity?
