Enigma Rooms Retford: Outbreak

Another great offering from Enigma Retford! As expected after playing their other rooms the theming is excellent. Some really good touches add authenticity to the setting making it well above the norm for this genre of room. An excellent range of puzzles with plenty to do and some quality 'a-ha' moments.  Fantastic hosting as always with a very genuine enthusiasm for escape rooms and a sense of humour to really enhance the experience.

Well worth the effort to travel to and a great experience for beginner or experienced escapers! The room is being revamped soon so get it played in it's current format, it's well worth it and we can't wait to go back and play the new version.

Nicely executed lab/zombie theme with some nice effects. It is possible to do most of the room sat down as theres a great wheeled seat in there!!! LOL!

This rooms begins with a split start where you have to work together in order to be reunited, this doesn't last for too long (we absolutely failed an observation puzzle that we should have nailed from the outset).  What continues is fairly standard stuff, opening padlocks, assembling puzzles, etc.  A couple of nice visual elements compliment the room and you will need to be observant to make your escape!

The start of this room is fun, and requires a bit more communication between team mates, and once you're past that, the rest of the room is great. Not as scary as I was expecting, the poster made it seemed like we'd be constantly under attack by Zombies. More of a lab-based game, but still a great game. 

Kept with the theme throughout with some clever puzzles that require some thought and consideration
