Really immersive game that keeps you a little on edge and scares you at all the right moments. Really enjoyed this game that is a little different to most escape rooms but very well built with great puzzles. Highly recommend.
The owners and staff are great at Mythologic and are passionate about escape rooms, spending time to chat with you when you arrive. The theme and design are good and you do feel like you're in a creepy atmosphere. The GM does a good job with periodic scares that will make you jump but this isn't over the top or excessive and adds humour and suspense. The puzzles are the weaker part of the room which is a shame but still enjoyable
Really intense room and our host Nelson was great - asking how we wanted our clues delivered and giving hints when needed. Game flow felt a bit poor in the first room where there were a lot of padlocks and little to indicate how to solve them. A piece of tech (a laser puzzle) didn't work and the ball puzzle didn't make sense to us but otherwise the puzzles were standard yet fun. Felt like the area at the end (corridor as you escape) was wasted and would have been cool to have some puzzles in there. Overall, scary and immersive but puzzles could be improved to make this a great room.
Now known as Needlenose - All members of the team loved this game and place it in high esteem, and in great company with our absolute favourites. There are some tricky puzzles inside which certainly challenged us (and being the first physical game after lock down, the grey matter really got a run out!) but everything was achievable, even if you need a subtle hint like we did!
Dont be a clown! - Put on your big boy pants and head down to Mythologic to play this game. It is certainly one you wont forget in a hurry!
