A big issue is the room was too dark to actually make out details of some of the puzzles, a few time we knew exactly what to do but we just couldn't see the puzzle clear enough.
An other big issue was that it felt that nothing was automatically triggered, multiple times we had to communicate to the host that we had finished the puzzle, which detracted from the experience alot.
Nice atmosphere, as a Da Vinci fan, maybe I'm biased, but great theme 😀 I've played some other Da Vinci themed rooms on my travels, too, but this one was probably the best out of those in terms of atmosphere. interesting game, but we were not loving the hint system, and even though I'm aware that as a more seasoned escapee I will get out of rooms earlier than average perhaps, I still get a bit disappointed if I escape too early for my liking (10-15 mins earlier is alright, when it's 20, I start to get a bit itchy). Maybe it is a normal difficulty and not quite easy for most. Also, some others may actually take pride in escaping sooner, so it's a very personal thing. Anyway, that's why it's 4 stars not 5, but for escape room newbies it could be a 5. 🙂

The Da Vinci theme is fantastically achieved here and the design of the room is a real highlight. Lighting can be an issue at times and we found it tricky to see at times! Great fun though!
Really fun room, with unusual puzzles and a cool hidden second room.
Down in London with work so decided to book an escape room. Finding the venue was the first challenge! Haha. This room felt quite different, the set was excellent and the team was split to begin with. Clue system is bizarre, hints embedded in the soundtrack?? Or played over the top of it in a booming Da Vinci voice. We got out so quickly that we immediately decided to do another of their rooms!! Haha

Slightly apprehensive after a not-parfectly-smooth experience in their medieval torture room, we plunged straight into a second game at London Escaped. A brief introduction explained that we were students of Leonardo Da Vinci, attempting to prove our worth.
This is another dimly-lit room, though less so as it progresses. But it's also quite beautiful, thanks to the Renaissance aesthetic of cogwheels and astronomy, with liberal use of Da Vinci diagrams as decoration. The puzzle mechanics use a l...
