A good solid room. Some of the puzzles were quite obvious, but this would make a great room for new players or a family with kids.
Our host, Matt (?) was nice and enthusiastic, though when we first arrived they were having some tech problems with the booking system so we were waiting ungreeted for quite a long time. One of the puzzles (tin man related) had a bit of a dodgy connection so the solution took a bit longer to get, even though we were doing it right. It could do with a bit of tweaking to make this better.
Note that this room does not have air con - we played on a hot summer's day and it was incredibly stuffy. The other Panic Room site at St George's Centre is much more comfortable.
This room is perfect for families! We took out 3 year old and it was amazing. Everything is at her eye or reach level. She was having a blast collecting things, making things happen and solving clues all by herself, she was even opening locks.
The clues were in cases easy for her to figure out but in other cases challenging enough for us as experienced players too.
The theming was perfect, hosting amazing, game 10/10
Highly recommend.
Our first ever escape room and a lovely introduction into the world of escape rooms!

With so many rooms based on classic stories ranging from Alice In Wonderland to Sherlock and Dracula it’s perhaps surprising that there aren’t more escape rooms themed for The Wizard of Oz; aside from one play at home game, this is the first I’ve seen. The Panic Room’s take on the story tasks you with finding courage, heart and brains through a set of locations familiar from the book or movie.
Suitably for the theme, Oz is pitched for family groups, with the ideal audience being a group with ad...
Fans of the original book or film will be absolutely delighted by this escape room as both the decor and the story are very true to the original! Or at least, I think they are. It’s been a good 15 years since I’ve watched the film and *gasp* I’ve never read the book.
We are taken down the yellow brick road to lend a hand to The Tinman, The Scarecrow and Lion to help them look after the Emerald City.
A well designed and good looking room, some really good puzzles, some a little different to the norm, a very nice room.
Another solid game from the guys at The Panic Room. Dont let the family theme fool you, its still a work out for your brain cells.
