It is the 14th century, and everyone is ruled by Holy Inquisition. You have been accused of witchcraft and incarcerated to await your awful death by the hands of a executioner nicknamed “Bloody Elbow”. He is famous for his love of disgusting tortures and violence, leading to a slow and agonizing death… You have only one hour to try your fate and escape the dreadful dungeon in the guarded castle
Although not a room designed to scare you, the theming here is lovely (very gruesome – fans of horror will enjoy). It is relatively search heavy, requiring a few intuitive leaps, but has some delightful physical mechanisms that really please.
The only thing that let this down for me was a puzzle that wasn’t in use which we wasted our time on – however this is a very strong room and you should definitely do it if in LA.
