The 90s was an epic era of boybands, bleached hair, Kappa tracksuits and the Macarena. Whilst most of us happily moved into the noughties and modern life, pop legend Blade Heart struggled to leave his glory days behind. Blade was lead singer of the infamous ‘Hearts Desire’ one of the most beloved boybands of the 90s. Sadly, he never recovered from the break up of the band, and continued chasing the dream of one day returning to fame. His studio was a reflection of his sad life, immersed in outdated belongings from the 1990s.
Sleazegenix Music Productions recently announced dropping Blade from their record label, resulting in a very public fallout. Despite this, Sleazegenix retained the rights to all of Blade’s music in the event of his death.
Stevie, the owner of Sleazegenix fears that he is the prime suspect and will be arrested the moment the death is revealed. You are part of a private detective agency that has been hired by Stevie to find out how Blade died. It won’t be easy as Blade had amassed a huge number of enemies throughout his career including ex boyband mate Steel, RnB Star EZ, and Ibiza DJ Trance-Master Troy.
You must act quickly to determine the truth before Blades death is revealed to the police.

I absolutely adored this room - it’s probably my new second favourite. None of the puzzles will be too challenging, but they’re just FUN, so much fun, it’s really the kind of room you can throw yourself into and you get the most out of it when you’re playful with it.
Don’t take it too seriously, don’t treat it as a time trial, just enjoy it. I was worried the 90’s theme would be a bit under/overwhelming, but as someone who wasn’t even born then it still came off as delightful and charming in a cheesy way. It had some really interesting puzzles and game mechanics that I’ll be thinking about for a while.
This room has the potential to be a great experience! The theming of the room was really good, and in keeping with the 90s! The music was a lot of fun and there were some nice moments within the room.
However, the flow of the room was off. The ideas behind some of the puzzles were really clever, but the execution fell short. I can't say too much without revealing a few spoilers, so I will say if you enjoy everything 90s, you should give this room a go; but if you are in it for the puzzle solving and for a smooth flow, this may not satisfy your escape habit!

This is a really fun room, especially if you’re a child of a certain era! I’m not sure how well it will resonate with teens or twenty-somethings, and personally I enjoyed the Mary Queen of Scots room at this venue more, but it’s still a great room. Musicians, particularly, will find a lot to appreciate and possibly find themselves at an advantage, too. There was one very frustrating digital set piece that slowed us down significantly due to its being really unintuitive and clunky; but aside from that, a pleasing variety of all types of puzzles that kept the two of us entertained, amused and busy from start to finish. Great hosting, too!
Great theming idea, but many elements didn't gel, and the main plot seems like a bolt-on, and didn't seem to fit with the fun feeling of what the room could of been. The game is worth playing if you're in the area if you're a 90's child, but if you're in your 20's now, I am not sure this will gel so much with you.
A real blast from the past, and the room immerses you into the 90s with enthusiasm. A great whodunnit theme throughout the puzzles. Really enjoyed this room
If you love a bit of nostalgia, this room is absolutely priceless. We spent a lot of time enjoying all of the 90s throwbacks in here and had a brilliant time. Some never seen before puzzles really made it for us and the hosting is superb.
