Another good, solid game from Escape Guimarães. We were quick, but we were having a good couple of days and just clicked with everything straight away.

The rooms looks fairly plain and simple at first glance, but there were plenty of good puzzles, and a good few times we'd solve something and say "that was cool!".

I don't like to be mean, but this was a typical Mission to Escape game. It is an old game, but it's only been in the new location for less than a year (I believe), yet still pretty much everything was broken or didn't work. At one point we were even told (after having to ask for a hint because what was obviously the right solution wasn't doing anything) to "find the door and push it". And yes this was supposed to be a hidden secret door! But, maybe they leave things broken on purpose to drag the game out because it was basically only one or two puzzles per room, over 4 rooms.

Decent enough game, but fairly easy. We would have been out fairly quick if it wasn't for a reset error, which normally I would forgive, but was made worse as the GM obviously didn't realise until we were asking for a hint (after wasting lots of time trying all sorts of random stuff because we were missing a vital part of the puzzle). It was only when he was trying to tell us what we should be doing that he realised a clue hadn't been put in the game, and instead of bringing it in for us, he just told us the code.

Half way through this game we did give in and just asked the GM to give us the solution for one puzzle, as it had been made so overly complicated it was just frustrating. And that was after an earlier puzzle that also had a few too many possible solutions. On the plus side, the GM was happy to hear, and seemed to actually take in and appreciate, our thoughts and possible fixes, so hopefully they will be changed in the future, as otherwise it would have been a perfectly good game.

Another great game from Puzzle Room, and this time quite a bit more challenging, especially with just 2 of us.

As usual with Game Over, the set design/build is lovely, but this game was also fun, made sense and everything worked!

Who doesn't love a bit of 80s nostalgia? Mostly not that difficult, although it was challenging enough with only two of us.

I'm not a huge fan of horror games, but this was good fun. Not very difficult with the puzzles, but the atmosphere and hosting made up for that.

Somewhat silly, weird, whacky game, but with some challenging puzzles. So, perfect escape room material.

Solid fun game. I preferred the original Mad World, as this one was a little simpler, but is aimed more for the younger ones now. Dream is a good "grown-ups" alternative, though.

Nice set design/effects and some nice logical puzzles. Escape Hunt seems to have a bad rep in the UK (from what I've heard), but we've enjoyed everything here in Lisbon.

Plenty to do for 2 people and not too difficult, but lots of fun!

Fun game, nicely decorated. Few puzzles that we'd seen varients of before, so was fairly easy for us, but one very cool puzzle that impressed me a lot.

A fun game, but quite small, and not very difficult for us. Actually, preferred the game that this one replaced.

Such a shame the pandemic forced these guys to close after only getting to play one of their games. We've heard some people say they didn't like it much as the GM was constantly on the walkie talkie to you giving you hints, but to us that was part of the immersion (having someone at HQ guiding you through your mission). It was immersive from the moment we got there, and inspired us to host all of our games in character. We even had to literally blow a hole in the wall to escape!

This probably would have deserved an excellent rating if it weren't for a couple of little snags. The first was an early puzzle where we tried what, we thought, was logical but didn't work and were left quite a while before being hinted on it (so cost us a chunk of time). Then the ending... We "escaped" in time, but leaving behind what was obviously another puzzle in the final room. Turns out there is an additional puzzle/puzzles if you get to the end early enough (which we might have done had we not been left so long at the beginning), but if not you can still "escape" in time. So, successful escape, yes, but tainted by knowing that we missed out on something. It's a great concept, but if done, needs to be kept hidden from players view.

At one point, we were thinking this was a very easy game and were flying through it. But we were wrong! It turned into a very enjoyable experience.

This game is proof that you don't need a room full of electronic bells and whistles to make it enjoyable. In fact, unfortunately, the one bit of electronics in the game decided to not work for us!

Not sure if this is still exactly the same, as we played the original game called Teste, but it was awesome. Very physical (plenty of crawling/climbing etc). Nice amount of "oh gross!" at one point and an ending that had us all out of breath! Definitely one of my favourite games so far.

I hadn't seen the film before playing this (in fact still haven't), but it didn't matter. It was still a lot of fun.

We found this quite tricky, but in a god way.

This had potential to be a really nice game. Most of the puzzles were fine and the set was built nicely, but it was just TOO DAMN DARK! Trying to read quite small writing embossed onto leather under a very dim sconce is not fun, and it also made finding other important items difficult. Speaking to the GMs afterwards, we were told "well, it makes it harder". No, it doesn't make it harder, it makes it less fun!

Such a blank canvas, that revealed so much gameplay! Will definitely be back sometime for the new dark cube.

This was a perfectly good (possibly even great) game, but just felt like it lacked something after having played the sacrifice before it.

Just the right amount of creepy to be a lot of fun.

The game was fairly straight forward for us, but it's set in such a beautiful, massive, room. Very enjoyable.

Great game with a good mix of puzzles and plenty of scares!

This was a fun game, with really good puzzles, and lovely artwork. We just felt it didn't include the local surroundings enough for an outdoor game. It would have been just as much fun playing it inside.

Good, solid game with nice decoration and an owner who cares. One puzzle stumped us a little, but I think they have now tweaked this a little.

Using the same room layout from the previous game gave us a couple of spoilers, but otherwise a good fun game, especially for Harry Potter fans (like my wife and daughter).

Fun game but fairly simple. A little disappointing that all we had to do to stop the bomb once we found it was press a button.

I think this was a good fun game. All I remember was trying to win sweets!

Another stange location for an escape room, set in a public bathroom! One or two puzzles we weren't keen on, but the rest was good. Completed the game in time, just didn't quite manage to all get out the door in time!

Fun to try, but I think I'd stick to regular escape rooms in future. My daughter struggled to get the hang of moving which ended up losing us the game.

Whoever thought a gazebo in a basement would work for an escape room? But it did!

This we played in person, as well as the online game. We like silly fun, and this was silly fun!

Dark and creepy enough to make it fun, but not too much to stop you thinking.

Nice game, well built. Not too difficult. Story line wasn't great at the end - host came into the room telling us we'd done it, but possible they've changed this now.

Didn't feel like we were getting into much when we first entered, but the game unfolded unexpectably and was all good fun.

Fun with some creepy moments. One or two reset errors that we noticed and worked around. Just slightly lacking something at the end.

Good concept idea of lots of puzzles giving a key for the final puzzle, but it was just that - a room full of individual puzzles. Plus at least three of them were broken/not working. Hints were only on bits of paper through the door, which kind of fitted with the theme, but not great.

Simple office sets, but good puzzles. Final puzzle was a bit too fiddley though.

Fun game with great actor. Bit too much "stuff" to search through at times. Good puzzles, we were just having a bad morning!

Cool centrepiece puzzle, but a little too dark at times.

Good fun game based on local history.

Was probably a good game once, but was getting old. One horrible red herring key. One puzzle confused us as there were leftovers of a previous version on it, and the exit keypad didn't work.

Small, but fun.
