This room is the biggest that Escape Kent have to offer and is the more expensive option. We turned up and were led to another building, bags were put over our heads and the experience started.
The gimmick of the game is that your team is split into two and placed in 2 separate rooms, handcuffed to the wall. Initially, this seems like it wont work, but the experience was incredible. Escaping a room while handcuffed just adds more to the experience thematically, as well as to the challenge of the room. Contacting the other half of your team is a large part of this room as well and this worked fantastically! There was enough for everyone to do and we never felt like we had down time, we were constantly working. All of the decor was on point too, it really felt like a grotty old London prison.
The puzzles were challenging, but not the trickiest escape room I've completed. This is more of a physical room compared to Escape Kents' other rooms. It worked brilliantly with 6, I think the advertised 8 would be too many people. While the room is large, there simply isn't enough to do for 8 people, however the room is only available with a minimum of 4.
The Game Masters at Escape Kent are always brilliant, but the one we had for Jailbreak got into the role well.
I definitely recommend Jailbreak for both beginners and experienced escapers.
