This is Hint Hunt’s second room and you can clearly see the difference from the first. Like the first room, you should expect quite a lot of searching, and the room is suitable for beginners. They have introduced some physical and mechanical puzzles which add a lot to the room, and the theming is a lot stronger / tighter than the first room. As with the first room, the staff are friendly.
They were still a bit reliant on some over used puzzle types, and gave us clues for things we’d already got, but it was an enjoyable room worth doing. Be warned – if you arrive slightly early, you’ll have to wait in the (reasonably nice) pub next door, as they don’t have a proper waiting area.
Much as with the other Hint Hunt room, this has the glow of nostalgia but suffers somewhat in comparison to the top-tier rooms I’ve played since.
It’s a pretty room and if only for that has a slight edge over JM’s Office.
