Overnight Escapes – Cornwall: The Escape Lodge

THERE HAS BEEN A ROBBERY!

One of Cornwall's largest jewellers has been targeted by thieves, and they have managed to steal numerous items from the shop, worth £1m in total! The robbery took place last week, police are still trying to locate the thieves and their haul, but so far they have no leads.

The criminal masterminds behind the robbery are Tommy & Mickey Carter, or "The Carter Brothers" as they are more commonly known. Tommy, the brains behind the operation, hatched the cunning plan, which appeared to be working... until now! Tommy hired a lodge, on a quiet holiday park in Cornwall, he hid the loot inside and then left the country. The plan was that once the dust had settled, Mickey would check into the lodge, retrieve the loot and then go and join him in sunny Spain.

 To be on the safe side, Tommy locked all of the items away and left a series of clues on how to get them. His brother may be excellent at solving puzzles, but he isn't excellent at following instructions - Mickey has only gone and booked into a lodge at the wrong holiday park, in the wrong county (Devon!) and guess what... you've checked into the one with the hidden loot!
