What an experience, loved every bit of this game. There is one moment that is just pure comedy and fits with the game well.
We love a good collection room and this is one of our favourites. We had great fun collecting gold and despite there only being 2 of us we succeeded with 17 mins to spare but it felt like we’d been in there much longer. The room is built so well you are fully immersed in the experience and the soundtrack helps too. A must do room!
1st timer, extremely good room with an immersive story and a variety of puzzles, Great atmosphere Would highly recommend to anyone, great fun.
Wonderful set, creative puzzles.
Lots of fun.
Best I've been to, very recommended.
This was such a brilliant game, which I would highly recommend.
Yes the pirate theme is a little well worn, but here is done it so well. The puzzles were thematic, made perfect sense and were in great number. The decor and setting of the room was spot on and made great use of the space.
Rob was a really great host, who was also very kind accommodating after I booked for the wrong date and missed it. I can't wait to see what room he comes up with next!
Non stop puzzles! Nothing too difficult, but they keep on coming!! A hidden gem in Wales.
This had everything I could ask for in an escape room - fun puzzles, secret surprises, an opportunity to dress up and dance, character interaction, and a ton of treasure.
The set packs in a lot of content over a relatively small area, with enough spaces opening throughout the game to let players breathe. Nothing was particularly difficult, but there was enough there to keep us going for the entire game without stepping on eachother's toes.
There's a satisfying narrative throughline that ties everything together and makes for some very fun moments.
I bloody loved it!
I was lucky enough to play test this room, it follows a great story with lots of puzzles to keep you going for the full time, and make you think, the attention to detail in the room is amazing.
At the time of writing, this is by far my favourite room I’ve done.
We were lucky enough to get to try the room the night before the official opening day - despite the fact that the host had not yet run the room for a group of non-testers, everything worked flawlessly first time.
The room is non-linear and kept us 100% entertained from start to finish.
So much work has gone in to building it and it really shows. The room has been built to such a high standard that you’d be forgiven for thinking you were actually inside a pirate ship. The puzzles all work flawlessly and are completely automated/electrical which makes the room incredibly interactive for the players throughout the game.
The puzzles are generally quite quick to complete, but there are a ton of them so you have to work fast if you want to complete them all.
I wish I could use more positive tags in this review, because the room deserves them all.
Incredible experience. Can’t wait for Tom’s next game at this venue!
My favourite room yet! I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know!
The setting and props look great and must have taken an age to get just right.
All the puzzles (and there are plenty of them!) are interesting, engaging, and many are very funny and original. Everything works exactly as it should.
We were engaged and laughing the whole time which is very rare! Most escape rooms, even really good ones, have moments of frustration or annoyance but not this one.
The hosting and customer service was impeccable.
Flawless and varied - similar to Cryptology's Daylight Robbery in Nottingham but with a pirate theme.
Great fun, some good laughs and the final treasure is very welcome!
We did it as a pair but families and groups up to 4 would be good. Puzzles were not too challenging for us, but there were plenty, it wasn't linear so you could play other areas if you got stuck.
Light-hearted, brilliant theme and logical, fair puzzles. We really enjoyed this - not the hardest in the UK but definitely one of the most fun! Would really recommend.
(We played this on its opening day and there were zero teething problems - well done Exit 60!)
