You are about to enter the lair of wicked witch Mary Seeton. In revenge for the death of her great grandmother, who was killed in this very spot in the great flood of 1771, Mary has set a hex upon Yarm and the other towns and villages which the River Tees runs through. In just 1 hour, that hex will be unleashed, and curse the surrounding area for the rest of time. Only a powerful coven of good witches can thwart Mary's dark magic.
Are you brave enough to enter her lair? Think you and your fellow witches can release the hex? Will you be the ones who can bring peace to the local community?
Time is running out. You have just 60 minutes to save the day….

tolles hosting
Not big, not fancy, but a room stuffed with padlocks - what's not to like?! A straightforward game with some really decent puzzles that make a lot of sense and a really delightful host. We zipped through the room but had smiles on our faces at the end.

After completing Anubis at Cluedini in Darlington, our little group was in the mood for more escapes so that same night we ventured back to Yarm, the home of the first Cluedini escape room we did earlier in the year Blitz, to play the other room at that location that is called Hex. This room, as you may have already guessed is a witchcraft themed room. It has a difficulty rating of 4/5 on the Cluedini website. You go into this room as a coven of powerful witches who need to break a hex put on the towns and villages of the surrounding area.
