The first episode of The Cursed Exhibition sees you investigating a murder at a museum. A member of staff has been killed while locked in her office, alone. It appears no human could have been responsible for her death. Could it be related to the unveiling of an ancient artefact, reputed to be a tool of evil?
The story is filled with twists, turns and some laughs thrown in for good measure; the deeper you delve into the mystery, the more peculiar this case becomes.
Something sinister is happening and its up to you to solve the case!

Now one of the best known and most successful subscription titles in the U.K., The Detective Society is now launching its third season, which like the previous two will consist of six games telling a single story. This one opens with a murder in a museum that may or may not be linked to a missing and allegedly cursed artefact.
The game comes in a sleeve rather than a box, but the deceptively slim package hides a nice array of documents and objects. These include plenty of printed paper material...
As this is a six-part series, the ending of episode one of “The Cursed Exhibition” left me with
even more questions than I started with. I am fascinated with the premise and am desperate to learn more. They built a rich narrative within their mystery that provides players with enough information to engage with the story without information dumping, which is a fine line I appreciate a great deal. I am excited to see what happens next! This series it not fully completed, yet, with only the first three episodes out currently and by January 2022 the series will conclude. If you enjoy monthly mystery subscriptions this is a great option, but if you prefer to binge your subscriptions, The Detective Society also has two addition series completed that are ready for your at home investigation, “The Disappearance of Claire Makova” and “The Sudden Silence of Timothy Lee.”
