Note that this room is 75 minutes rather than the conventional 60; that’s because it’s absolutely stuffed with puzzles.
On entering the room, it’s clear that although it has an artificial feel to it, a lot of time has gone into the decoration; there are complex, apparently hand built mechanisms and decorations that fit into what Leonardo’s workshop might have contained; many of the puzzles are subtle but satisfying once you get them; and I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that this room has the largest Cryptex I’ve seen by some way.
This was a very high quality game that had a few failings: as well as a story-line that we all agreed was weak, we were let down by a technical failure, plus two puzzles that were far too sensitive and which took the fun out. These could easily be fixed!
