A great bit of teamwork and some clever puzzles, from needing to work on separate things to skill based challenges that benefit teamwork. Quite simple presentation, and minimal story but a great experience overall. Price lets it down from a higher score though.

I loved everything about The Sapphire Palace, from the interface to the puzzles, and the format to the story. But at $20.00 per player for a game without a live host, I’m going to have a hard time recommending this game to the majority of escapers, even though it is fantastic. But if you’ve got the budget, go for it!
There were some really cool game designs we haven't seen before utilized in the puzzles. It almost felt like physical puzzles in an escape room. If you are looking for more of a competitive game with your team, I'll go with "The Sapphire Palace". If you are looking for more of a cooperative game, I'll go with "The Ruby Palace". In terms of difficulty level, "The Sapphire Palace" does feel more challenging mainly because it's much harder to bypass (it's not just entering a password to move on, you'll have to solve the puzzles). I can't wait to visit another palace!
This was almost certainly the best online game we’d played since The Insiders (albeit totally different). This is a half prison-break/half test-your-worth game, where the aim is to escape from your mysterious cell, activate the mechanics of the basement prison complex and open a vault, solving the intrigue of your incarceration.
