When we first open a time portal we send one of our scientists back to make sure everything is ok and it is all safe and stable - we sent Edith, but unfortunately she hasn’t returned… We’ve now lost communication with her, but we do know that she was trying to shut the portal down when something stopped her. We need your team to finish the job - we would go ourselves but we’re too scared.

This is my favourite of all the rooms here. Immersed from start to finish. The simple use of sound created the perfect atmosphere. We were on edge constantly.
Jump scares here and there, parts of the game definitely took me out of my comfort zone, but it was great fun!!!
Edith is renowned as a scary room and event though we played during the pandemic. I won't go into the backstory but the decor and lighting turn this into a suitable atmospheric room with some intriguing and infuriating puzzles needed to advance. There's one key moment that made this room stand out for me which is when the team is forced to split up to accomplish a task. I'm torn as to how scary this is as YMMV...
I think it took over an hour for our heart rates to return back to normal after this one! Because the reputation of this room precedes it, we went in with trepidation, which gave us foggy brains for even the most straightforward of puzzles but we were expertly guided by an enthusiastic games-master. The setting was simple, but unusual. I am glad we played in a pandemic so nothing could get too close but, even with this restriction, the room was definitely terrifying enough! If you like a scare, go for it! Only reason it is not 5* is because one puzzle in the first space was quite fiddly and irritating!
This was terrifying (or maybe we’re just wimps)- great acting and theming throughout the experience. Some really unique moments in this room that I won’t spoil but we really enjoyed them. There was one skill based puzzle that we just couldn’t get to grips with which effected our overall time badly. Otherwise loved it.
Great atmospheric room. It wasn’t as scary as I was expecting, but I don’t scare easily. Some unique things I’ve not seen before in any room. A must play.
Edith is an unusual beast of an escape room, one that you might love or might find not to your taste, but which you'll definitely remember. Personally I thought it was outstanding and hilarious.
The game is named after a missing operative from your time travel agency, who went through a new time portal then vanished in the process of trying to shut it down. Your job is to go through the same portal, work out if it's safe (spoiler: it's not), then shut it down and escape.
From the rather specta...
A fantastically scary game that I'd recommend to anyone who likes that genre of rooms. A wonderful sense of exploration combined with the actor interactions really help make Edith an intimidating experience.
Edith has a reputation amongst UK enthusiasts that’s not undeserved. Your tolerance for terror will ultimately determine if this is one that you’ll love or leave, but it is without a doubt one of the best horror experiences we have played in the UK (so far), and struck a nice balance between horrifying and humorous.
When it comes to horror escape rooms in the UK, Edith is a name that many will recognise or maybe even fear. One of 4 of Unescapeable Derby’s devious but amazingly themed and immersive rooms. Edith is known for a dark storyline, Chilling Mystery and many a jump scare in tow. That being said we were visiting in the time of COVID… So would Edith live up to its fearful reputation?
Truly the most terrifying experience I’ve ever had. It’s an atmospheric and (unfortunately for your nerves) truly immersive game. You’ll struggle to find one scarier. It’s also got some real moments of humour that really lighten the mood.
