Another great experience from the guys behind time run. Brilliant intro and Immersive experiences and multiple rooms of puzzles, just some puzzles and frustrations let it down for us compared to their other experiences.

In the early years, as escape rooms spread throughout the U.K., one London venue quickly gained an international reputation for production values that were streets ahead of anywhere else, as well as a variety of then unheard of innovations such as a briefing performed in costume and in character. That venue was of course Time Run, who eventually closed due to the loss of their lease, but returned in a new location having scored the massive coup of an official licence for a Sherlock game - not Co...

A review of Sherlock: The Game is Now, one of the most expensive but also one of the most impressive games in London. If you’re a fan of the show, it’s well worth a visit and even if you’re not, it’s certainly something to consider if the price point doesn’t put you off.
This was a fun experience, but for us at least it wasn’t worth the money and was over-hyped. Sherlock enthusiasts will probably love it, escape room enthusiasts will probably find it like Marmite

In our briefing we were told we’d travel around London very fast. They weren’t wrong! What starts as a very unassuming opticians shop quickly becomes an exciting briefing at 221B Baker Street (the iconic residence of Sherlock Holmes). We then rushed off to a series of fantastic locations from the TV series such as St. Barts Hospital, Mycroft’s office, and a brilliant (if a little creepy!) museum of medical instruments.

So, were our superfans satisfied? Absolutely. Copious use of video and voice work from the stars of the show, plus neat in-jokes and authentic props, gave a real buzz (there may have been actual squealing at points). It may be extra-pricey (for us non-Londoners)
Entering via an optometrist shopfront into a world of espionage, Sherlock: The Game is Now has clearly invested thought, time and expertise into this new London escape room offering.
